Pevensey Bay Model Railway Club East Sussex

Hello and Welcome to our New Website

Located in the village of Pevensey Bay, a mile east of Eastbourne, UK on the sunny Sussex coast, the club boasts a friendly membership dealing in railways of all shapes and sizes. Every week there will be some model railway construction taking place but also a fair amount of talking about other rail related matters plus, of course, putting the world to rights!

The club was formed in 2010 and normally meets every Monday evening from 7pm to 9.30 pm at the Ethel Wood Community Hall, Coast Road, Pevensey Bay (see club diary for actual dates or variations). We also hold an annual exhibition in July each year, which is always very popular and the 2021 one is at a new local and larger improved venue. AT THE MOMENT AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE CLUB NIGHT MEETINGS ARE SUSPENDED TO COMPLY WITH GOVERNMENT COVID GUIDELINES. THIS IS SHOWING EVERY SIGN OF LASTING INTO 2021. IN THE MEANTIME PLEASE KEEP SAFE AND TAKE NO CHANCES.

Several layouts are under construction, which include UK 00 gauge and UK N gauge, using a mixture of both analogue and digital control. The progress of some of these layouts can be found in our club layout pages. You can also see how some of our members are progressing with their own layouts in the member's layout pages.

If you are interested in joining our club, or simply want some advice, in the first instance give our Secretary a ring or leave a message on this website and we will get back to you.
